Climate pressure sits alongside conflict as a driver of instability. Drought, resource scarcity and displacement strain the same community relationships that peacebuilding seeks to repair, so we pair this work with climate risk and vulnerability assessment, helping communities and local government understand what they face and plan for it.

Community Mediation
We facilitate structured mediation processes between conflicting parties at the community level, drawing on local cultural practices and internationally recognised conflict resolution frameworks.

We design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks for peace and stabilisation programmes, measuring social cohesion outcomes and reporting to donors.
Climate Risk, Vulnerability and Adaptation
Climate evidence that local government and communities can act on, built by combining climate science with participatory field work.
Climate Risk Assessment
We analyse historical records and downscaled climate projections to establish what is actually changing in a given district, rather than relying on national averages that mask local conditions.
Hazard and Vulnerability Mapping
Spatial multi-criteria analysis in a geographic information system produces hazard, exposure, vulnerability and risk maps, identifying drought hotspots and priority corridors for protection.
Adaptation Planning
We screen adaptation options against cost and benefit, prioritise them with indicative costs, and package the findings so they feed directly into district climate action and development plans.
Participatory Hazard Mapping
We run participatory mapping with disaster risk committees and gender-disaggregated focus groups, so that community knowledge of local hazards sits alongside the technical analysis.
Resource Scarcity and Conflict
Competition over water, grazing and land is a recurring driver of local conflict. We examine where climate pressure and conflict risk overlap so programmes can address both together.
Policy Briefs and Mainstreaming
Assessments are delivered with a GIS database, a map series and a policy brief, supporting access to performance-based climate resilience finance and mainstreaming adaptation into planning.
